Niev ea Galeaff is the intelligence operative and de facto field commander attached to Hamriddy oa Galeaff during the Palleseen siege of Eres Ffenegh, serving as his agent, aide, and - after his death - the only member of the Galeaff family willing to occupy the political space he left behind. Taken into the household "in payment for a service" rather than by blood, she calls Hamriddy "Uncle" as a term of office and operates at the intersection of intelligence vetting, financial negotiation, and civilian defence. She is not a member of the Osseach of Defiance, holds no formal seat or title, and is never officially empowered to make the military and political decisions she in fact makes.
